In 2008 I bought the new kinetic design 2008 Focus. This was the Titanium version and has the 136 bhp 2.0 l tdci engine. Aesthetically and in terms of space it has to offer and of course for the better feel for the road that is transmitted through its hydraulic steering, I still prefer it over the 2011 Focus. Unfortunately, in April 2015 the 2.0 litre engine gave up the ghost due to a defective crankshaft and three of the four injectors. Yet again I had to part with a beloved daily driver and ordered the all-new Ford Mondeo (Fusion) to give Ford one last chance.
